Use Vertical and Horizontal Photos Together – Paperclipping 245

paperclipping 245

Are you one of the many who doesn’t know what to do when you have a horizontal AND a vertical photo together?

Does the mismatched pair look awkward to you?

There is an easy solution!

I actually love it when I have this combination and I’d love to share why!

In answer to a request, I’ve made a video that shows how these can be some of the easiest layouts to design. You’ll see me put together two different layouts, and for one of those layouts I show two totally different possibilities — so you’re almost seeing three pages come together.

If the vertical + horizontal photo pair has ever challenged you, I’m positive it won’t happen again after watching this video. Paperclipping Members can find it in the Member’s Area and on iTunes.

You need a membership to watch the video.

You noted in your video that this layout did not require much journaling and I agree that all layouts do not, but would love to see or hear about ideas for when you can’t remember and want to journal. I recently did a layout from 1999, my Nephew’s first Halloween. I could not remember a single thing about that night. I even showed the pictures to his parents and my parents and no one could remember anything! Everytime I look at that layout, it bothers me that not one of us remembers a darn thing. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Yes, it was a easy solution, but putting it together like this was something I certainly had never thought of! Also great ideas for die cutting machine use! Very practical, helpful and doable. Thanks!
