Scrapbooking About Yourself

When was the last time you scrapbooked about yourself? Not you with your husband or a child. Not you with a friend. I mean, about just you.

I didn’t do it as much as I would like this past year, but I’m working on one right now.

I used to do it a lot, mainly because I was following a lot of online prompts and challenges a few years back. Here are a bunch of those past layouts about me, oldest to newest:

    I need to do more layouts about myself, if only so that Baby H’s grandkids will know more about me.

    I loved the weird things about yourself one. I have those same conversations in the “society of my mind” too. I have these conversations with people I know, about things I want to tell them. Only my problem is that I sometimes can’t figure out later if I actually had the conversation with the person or not. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve asked my husband “did I talk to you about X?”

    I love that layout “Outside his apartment, steering wheel in my hand. . .” I remember seeing that published — was it in Memory makers magazine? That is a classic.

    Yes, I remember it! It was such a good story and I’m a romantic. . Plus the photos you chose to tell the story made it very memorable.

    Thanks Noell for helping spark some stories for me. I don’t think I have any of just me yet! As long as I have a list of things written down, I will get them done. Having a 6 year old to document consumes most of my scrap time, but I know I will remember my memories as long as I have a little something written down. Who knows, I may just glue the index cards with the lists on a page and call it good.

    I love that you are posting so often! What I don’t love is when I get busy and can’t keep up ;) I’m having a great time going back and reading all the great posts now that I have a few minutes…

    LOVE this post Noell, and I love the LOs too. It’s been a while since I have done a page about myself. I guess I’m ‘not normal’ either because 1, 2, 3 and 6 on your ‘six weird things about me’ LO apply to me as well. I also have pillow issues, just not the same ones LOL!!
