    Yay, Katie said I’m awesome:)
So glad Izzi mentioned Derek Miller’s final blog post: http://www.penmachine.com/
A friend sent it to me and I had a “Stephanie” moment, of getting teary:)

I think Stephanie & Izzi should have their own daily radio show—the contrast between you two is so entertaining. Happy 50th—and even if you can’t do a daily show, at least twice a week would be great. With three little boys, my bathroom really needs to be cleaned more than once a week;-)  I really have learned so much from your shows. Thanks!

Awesome 50th episode! It was me who sang the song and left the next message (equivocating, pedestals, and such, haha!). You guys are fabulous!!! Thanks for everything and here’s to 50 more!

Hahaha, thanks for playing my voicemail! :D It sounds WAY weird hearing myself come out of iTunes. :P And thanks for the sentiment, Izzy. ”We love you all” is “Mahal namin kayong lahat.” :) I’d love to converse with Noell (my third name is Noelle) in Tagalog. Congratulations on your 50th! I look forward to listening to your 200th :D

  • http://twitter.com/GetItScrapped Debbie Hodge

Bravo! So many of the messages stressed what makes this show awesome: your generosity of spirit, your knowledge of the tools, and all the hard work the three of you do week after week. Thanks so much for this show.

Alexis! Kumusta? Masaya ako na makita ang translation mo! :)

  • Digiscrappergirl

What a fun show…I got a little verklempt in the cube today while listening to the show. What do you mean there won’t be 200 episodes?
I had no idea that I spent 10 seconds of my 15 second message talking about Izzy.  When I really called to giggle about the “repeats” on the show. Yes Katie, in the beginning it didn’t sound like you were a co-host, which now, I can’t imagine the show without you.

  • Beth

Yay!  I was so excited to listen to the show, and so relieved that I didn’t sound like quite as much of a goober as I thought I did on my voicemail!  LOL

I just want to reiterate my thanks, and add that I was nodding along with so many other callers with their reasons about why they enjoy the show.  I especially liked what the one lady said about you guys being my friends (gosh, I can’t remember her name — only “Canada CAN!”).  I feel the same way.  There’s just something about *hearing* your voices every week that makes me feel like we’re friends, moreso than when I was just a Daily Digi reader, pre-podcast.  Thanks so much for all the work you do to make this an interesting, entertaining, and above all inspiring show.  There have been many times that I’ve stopped mid-podcast to scrap something!

Oh, and P.S. — yes, I’m on Pinterest because of the Digi Show!  (Thanks for the invite, Katie!)

Congrats on the 50th episode and I hope many more will come! I agree that the show provides great tips and topics for everyone, not just digiscrappers. :)

BTW - equivocating definition says – Verb: Use ambiguous language so as to conceal the truth or avoid committing oneself.

So I think the caller was questioning your integrity, Izzy – LOL :P

Mabuti, Noell! Haha, salamat at sobrang tuwang-tuwa ako na marinig kay Izzy (at mabasa ngayon) yung Tagalog mo. :) Panalo ka!

    This
anniversary epiisode is only partially played back for me and I’m already commenting. First, the most
important comment I must leave is “Happy Anniversary!” I am a person
who has only tipped my toes in digital, I’m taking Katie’s class at BPC trying
to get more inspired in a digital direction. (OK, I’m more into this episode now and you are talking about blogging.) I do love that blogging is consider a form
of digital scrapbooking because I do blog some though currently having problems with Blogger (may be my internet browser) . I love a lot about digital but it just isn’t messy enough
for me right now. (The Colonel is in the background hoping that I’ll become a
convert soon. because he wants to eat one meal on a table that doesn’t require
shoving aside scrap supplies to put down the bowl of mashed potatoes). I love
the show and while I’ve not yet listened to every episode I’ve enjoyed many.
This one has been an extra special episode because I’ve heard so many other
fans expressing what I love about this show. I have learned a lot from the show
as well been thoroughly entertained. Love all the Paperclipping products. So,
congrats again. (Yes, I do talk a lot parenthetically, sorry.)

    I wasn’t a co-host in the beginning :) I appreciate your support!

Thanks so much for all the nice comments! We really do love our listeners! (and ALL our guests – lol!)

Another great show!  I’ve only recently started listening but I’ve been re-inspired to scrap and get the stories recorded!  I had been in a slump so I’m excited to be obsessed once again.

And thanks Izzy for the ugly cry from the story of the blogger.  Never been so happy to be working from home!

  • http://1200somemiles.blogspot.com Sara G.

Congratulations on 50 episodes!  I am looking forward to many more episodes :)

  • http://blog.mshanhun.com Melissa

So excited to hear my voice on this show :) Everyone’s voice mails were so touching and lovely! I think they should be added to Steph’s book of Awesome!

If you are looking for my site that Izzy mentioned, it’s http://mshanhun.com I’m doing some digiscrapping teaching over there.

    Congrats on reaching 50!

I really meant to phone in; but I’m in the middle of potty training my daughter, and life is really non-linear at the moment!

I have begun to play with digital scrapbooking more and more lately, but what I’ve really taken away from the Roundtable and the Digi Show (and Foolish Adventure) is the idea that regular, real people figure out how to make web content, start businesses, buy their own domains and make their own websites (my blog is hosted on hostmonster now, not a hosting blog site).  I haven’t yet got a knitting pattern for sale, but I have bought the domain for what will be the site to sell them on.

How is the scrapbooking going?  Well, the stories are on the blog and in my journals, the photos have some tags and stars (and are backed up), and I had fun slapping pictures into my son’s photo album with some journaling tags a week ago.  The fun is huge, even if the output is small.

  • Digiscrappergirl

UGH–Izzy can you help with that cd you talked about sleeping? (l liked how you pointed out that you weren’t sharing a bed on a business trip) was it called pizz….google is not my friend today.  I typically like to travel with the opposite gender to avoid sharing.

    thanks

  • http://www.paperclipping.com Noell

Hee hee! Wala akong kaibigan na filipina ngayon, kaya wala akong kausap sa
tagalog. Pasensya — maraming nakalimutan ko.

(tama ba iyan? am I still speaking right?)

Whoo-hoo!! Happy 50th show! I listened today as I walked my dog (maybe one day I’ll graduate to running whilst listening, unlikely though, ha ha!) and found myself giggling and laughing along. I also teared up a little bit along with Steph listening to the voicemail!

One thing that wasn’t mentioned in the voicemails but that I really enjoy about the show is hearing people who I ‘know’ online talking and chatting along with you guys. I love that sense of connecting with them and getting to know everyone better.

Thanks for all the fun, information and even the tears – here’s to the next 50 shows! :)

  • Anonymous

I think this is what Izzy was referring to: http://pzizz.com/ Hope that helps! :)

  • Lil

It’s my first time commenting on the show, though I’ve listened to every one…I’m sitting at work, listening to the 50th episode, and I had to pause to let you know I’m getting weepy listening to the show!  First Izzy talks about the blogger’s “if you’re reading this, I’m gone…” and then how his friend did motion scrap booking for his daughter “watching her grow up in matter of minutes…”.  My daughter is 11 months today. Just the thought of how fast this year has gone makes my head spin.  Then I started thinking about how nothing is certain, and we don’t all have the chance to watch our kids grow up…Anyway, I’m crying.  At work.  Thanks. :)

I enjoy the show, and love hearing your voices each week.  I feel like I really know all of you.  Looking forward to the next 50 shows (and more).

    Lil

Izzy, WE LOVE YOU in tagalog is MAHAL NAMIN KAYO. :) I am a filipina based in Southern Illinois. It was just nice hearing a Filipino call from home. : )

Congratulations on 50 episodes! I’ve enjoyed listening to every one and am honored to have been a small part if it! Here’s to 50 more!

  • Maureen

Happy Happy 50th! I am a digi scrapper aka CookingMyLife who doesn’t have a commute, who no longer is employed (yeah!), does very little housecleaning, and doesn’t run. Since I am retired and have time to scrap when I want, I often listen to your shows when I am tidying up my studio or in the evening with headphones while my husband reads on his iPad. (Yes, we are a total iWant family – 4 Macs, 2iphones, 2 iPods and 1 iPad. ONE of us is lusting over the iPad2 and a MacAir.)

I love love love the laughter and fun of the show. I don’t have any friend who digi scraps and eyes glaze when I mention what it is I do. Photography they get but digi scrap? naw, Your show introduces me to friends I haven’t met yet.  Considering how fast the digital world is changing, can you doubt that you will have material for 200 shows??? I know you can do it. “Go Team!”

  • Ashleigh (capriMOM)

Just wanted to say THANKS for playing my voicemail! You have no idea how many times I recorded that LOL

When discussing the tasks that we do while listening to the show, Izzy wondered which came first. In my case, the show did. I’m mostly joking :p

Seriously, this was a great episode. I laughed a lot, cried a little, and it left me with lots of warm warm fuzzies. (Is warm warm equivalent to hot?)

  • http://twitter.com/mrshobbes Alexis Aragona

Yep, perfect! :) If I ever leave another voicemail again I’ll toss a message in Filipino for you :)

  • http://twitter.com/mrshobbes Alexis Aragona

Hi Van! Awesome to see more Pinays check in here. Panalo ka! :)
