Paperclipping 105 – How to Have Endless Ideas

paperclipping 105

How often do you stare at your table, with no idea how you’ll scrapbook a set of pictures? I used to do that all the time, and it was the one thing that sometimes made me not want to scrap. Fortunately that hasn’t happened in years, and today I’ll show you why.

Great episode. I would LOVE to see even more of your layouts and hear how you got your ideas… more, more, more…please! Note to Noell…. this would make a great tutorial concept! Marcy :)

Awesome! I love hearing your thoughts on all your details on your projects. I am so happy to see the finished versions of the two layouts you had featured on previous live shows… they turned out fantastic.

I especially liked taking the feminine approach to the layout of Aiden and you. Several years back I realized that I could do a page of my feelings as a mother and make it more feminine, rather than the traditional “boyish” layouts I was used to doing when using photos of Bay and I. It was definitely an “ah-ha” moment for me even though I have been a long-time scrapbooker. I was so happy to free myself and scrapbook the relationship more than the perceived notion of focusing on gender.

Oh, and I would definitely recommend iTunes for getting the episodes. Mine is set up to check every hour for updates, so I never miss anything! :)

    Noell–

Once again there is confirmation that you are what I call an “intentional scrapbooker.” You use design principles and symbolism to deliberately tell your story.

    Love it.
