New Keyword to Tag and Categorize Photos: Clothes

I added a new keyword to my tags and categories for photos.

Clothes.

You know what inspired it?

Trinity put on her outfit, then told me she wanted us to be twins for the day and asked me to wear something similar.

I already had a layout idea of her 1st grade dresses that became my tops.

Exhibit A: Red + Black Plaid Dress –> Top

Exhibit B: Hello Kitty Dress –> Top

We’ve already traded a lot of clothes that fit the other better, and I have this picture of her looking through my closet for potential inheritances.

Seeing her looking through my clothes, shoes, and jewelry makes me nostalgic because I remember how much I loved scavenging my own mom’s beautiful things when I was little.

Lately I’ve gotten more and more excited about the time I hope to come when we’re close to the same size and we can trade like sisters.

So with all this going on, I realized the subject warrants its own keyword so I can easily find these photos when I’m ready to scrapbook them.

What are the newer patterns emerging in your life that might warrant a keyword in your photo tagging and categorizing system?

Wow, who knew! I can’t imagine that I would have ever fit into my daughter’s dresses, even as tops, but there you go and prove it can be done.

I guess right now, I’d have to say “Hailey” is my newest Keyword, just because my baby girl at 1 is taking up alot of my photos. I never really thought I’d take THAT many photos of her. But I do it all the time. Between her and the cats…

Cute that she digs through your clothes. My mom used to borrow my clothes, which would annoy me. Not so much that she borrowed, it, rather that she didn’t ask first. I am an INSANE planner, and usually know what outfit I’m going to wear several days out. Sometimes I mix it up, but not often. Mom had a habit of borrowing an item that I had been planning to wear the next day. Drove me nuts.

Hailey, on the other hand, is fascinated with my jewelry. I expect she’ll be after that when she’s old enough. Tonight she kept flipping my head from side to side so she could inspect my earrings. Since she doesn’t make a move to grab and pull them, I let her do it. It’s cute…except for my head being shoved side to side over and over.

As a young mom do you STILL plan your attire out for several days? That amazes me, since I go by how I am feeling at that moment in the morning to choose what I wear.

Yes, I still plan my outfits. Part of that is because I haven’t wanted to spend alot to buy a full wardrobe for my post-pregnancy size. I have a fabulous wardrobe 2 – 3 sizes down from this! So I have exactly 5 business casual outfits for work and 2 weekend outfits. I just broke down and bought several cute workout outfits, to help me get rid of this baby weight.

I don’t think I qualify as a “Young Mom” since the entire pregnancy I was told I was a “Mother Of Mature Age”. I’m in my late 30s. I just got started late on the Mom gig.

Great post! I had added the post Hats/fashion recently when I noticed a lot of photos with us in hats. I added photos of my son in favorite clothes to that tab.

Keywords are the main part of the web site. It’s appearance depends on the keywords. Please share with us the term of keyword stuffing.

I have a “clothes” keyword as well. Do you have a list of keywords that you can share? I’m just getting started on tagging my photos with keywords and am not sure what I should or should not include. How detailed or broad should keywords be? A few guidelines would be helpful. Thanks.
