Moving Scrapbook Supplies through My System

Dance Album Supplies in Box 4399

I just put my daughter’s dance album and mini-book supplies in this box.

I would brag to you about how organized I am, except I would be exaggerating. I fully admit to what is still on my floor…

I told you I don’t unpack my new scrapbook purchases for months. You probably didn’t believe me, but there it is.

The dance supplies were on the top of that pile for about two weeks.

Why?

My boxes of unfinished (but organized!) projects were all already in use.

I could have bought more boxes. I still have room for a couple more.

But I decided to just finish one of my projects already and keep things moving at a healthier pace.

I pulled out my Week In the Life project from last year. It took me two sittings but I finished it and now I have a new home for these supplies I’m so excited to start using!

    I seem to be having trouble searching the paperclipping website.  I wanted to see all of your past posts on your Week In The Life projects, but the posts aren’t coming up during a search.  Any tips?  Maybe an “archives” date list would be helpful in the sidebar also?
    Can’t wait to see your completed project!

    Hi, Kristyn! I’ve had some trouble with the searching too.

    Let me talk with Izzy about what we can do about this. We took the archives
    off for a reason, but maybe we can come up with a way to make everything
    more accessible and searchable.

    Great post- I love the honesty of it. :)

    I, too, just finished last year’s Week in the Life album last week so I could make room to store some new project kits (I use 12×12 plastic boxes from Michaels for project and kit storage). This year I plan on doing both Week in the Life and December Daily/Journal Your Christmas as digital photo books so that the supplies don’t pile up around my space again!

    Where and who makes the boxes? I have been looking for boxes that would hold the 12 x 12 paper and longer embellishments etc. I now have box envy…thanks for the great article.

    going, “Hmmm, maybe I ought to finish last year’s…”

    Do you have an Ikea anywhere near you? They’re Ikea boxes and I was so happy
    to have that size when I added those long strings of pearl and gems because
    they package is longer than 12 inches!

    I think these boxes might be 15 inches long. I love them.
