CHA 2012 – Hambly Has Great New Products, Including New Mini Overlays!

As a fan of transparencies I’m so excited about Hambly’s new products, especially the mini overlays! They’ve also branched out into regular multi-color paper prints. But you just might learn something new about their good old screen-printed papers! The colors of the new products are so gorgeous and this is my favorite of all their releases so far!

My credit card is yelling Noooooooo at me right now.  Noell, you and Ali are responsible for my obsession with the Hambly transparencies.  I’ve been using them like crazy.  I went on their website a few months ago and got transparency happy!  Looks like in a couple months I’ll be doing it agan…..

Question:  Do you ever use blank transparencies and stamp on them, say with Staz-On?  I bought a pack of blank transparencies at Scrapbook.com and I happen to have some great background stamps, like a chevron one.  I keep thinking I should use them instead of buying more Hambly’s, but I’m afraid of smearing and transference.

I have a box of plain transparencies and I have stamped on them — I think with Staz-on. Whatever I did, it worked. Give it a try and see. I’ve been wanting to print some of my digital elements onto transparencies, too, but the ones I have are for my plain b+w printer, not my color, and I’ve been wanting to do color. Actually, I’ve been wanting to print white, but you can’t do that. :(

Yes I know ALL about wanting to print white!  I’ve even considered buying a Yudu screenprinting machine, thinking that would let me print white, but in my research decided that even though it would work in my quilting projects, it’s too much money and finicky process.  And I’m not convinced it would work in my papercrafting projects.  I’ll just pay for screenprinted transparencies. :)
