Giveaways: Altered Books Tutorial and American Crafts
Are you ready for a month of celebrating three years of Paperclipping? Let’s start with some giveaways…
Altered Books Tutorial
You’ve waited forever for this and the tutorial is finally available in download-able form (a DVD will be available for purchase very soon). In this special edition Paperclipping tutorial, Dedra Long and I show you how to alter unwanted old hardcover books to make them your own beautiful works of art and another avenue for telling your own stories. See instructions at end of this post on how to win.
You can find out more or order your own by clicking here. If you buy the tutorial and then win it, we will refund your money.
American Crafts
American Crafts contacted me and asked if the Paperclipping audience would get excited about a giveaway package from them. Hello? Ummm, yeah, definitely. I’m a huge fan of American Craft albums. Their D-ring albums are all I’ve used for a number of years when it comes to standard scrapbook albums. Check out all the stuff below that one winner will get from American Crafts…
One winner will get one of each of their 12×12 cardstock packs, a 12×12 D-Ring Chestnut album, and 9 metallic Zing! embossing powders.
How To Win
I will choose two winners on Wednesday morning from the comments using a random number generator. The first winner will receive the Altered Books Tutorial and the second will win the American Crafts package. To enter, please leave a comment that answers this question: If you were going to make an altered book project, what would the topic of your book be?
Important Note: Because of international laws, you must be at least 18 years of age and be a resident of the United States to qualify.

Today’s episode goes out to the Paperclipping Members. If you like cute embellishments but don’t like how expensive they are, especially if you already have too much scrapbooking stuff to justify buying more, this episode is for you.
Last week’s episode was free, so if you missed it, here’s a link to the tutorial on mini-books. It was originally released to Paperclipping Members and we’ve pulled it from the archives to re-release it as a free episode. With a membership you can get access to almost 120 videos in the Paperclipping archives, plus see the exclusive tutorials as they come out. See how it works by clicking here.
We decided to pull one of the Members-Only episodes out of the archives to share with the rest of the Paperclipping audience for this week’s free video. If you’re one of our members and this episode sparked some ideas that you never completed (or started?) maybe you’ll get some renewed motivation after watching this again. If you’re not a member and you like what you see, you can get a lot more (over 100 plus new ones to come). Please click here to see how a Paperclipping Membership works.
Because Prima introduced so much fabulous stuff we had to divide their tour into two videos! In this one you’ll see their pearl and crystal products. Sharon shows how their blingie flourishes are designed to be easy to remove from the backing and placed onto your project. You’ll also see lots of intricate “centers” that you can add to their center-less flowers as well as Prima mini-pebbles.
Sharon gives a tour of just some of Prima’s many new products this season. We had to separate this tour into two parts and we didn’t even cover everything. In this video you see some of the flowers, leaves, birds, butterflies, vines, branches, sprigs, holiday items, and individual acrylic stamps with crystal bling included for only 95 cents.
