Journaling reads:

lucky to have friends to take us out boating * lucky to live so close to Canyon Lake * lucky to get to enjoy such unbelievable beauty

Remember how fun it was to get whipped around on the tube? Remember the insane lightening storm that started so suddenly? Remember the outrageous rain that flooded the path home and made it nearly impossible to see the road ahead of us? An adventure.

Journaling (shortened version) reads:

At 36 yrs old I…

  1. Wrote the first draft of my first novel. This has been my dream since I was a kid. I also wrote a first draft to a second novel but didn’t finish it until 2 days after I turned 37. Both novels were completed within a month. Revision of the first is 1/3rd the way through.
  2. …began writing short stories. I call them my “shorts.”
  3. …started off-road biking.
  4. …fell in love with my husband all over again.
  5. …did press coverage of a national trade show, the Craft & Hobby Association trade show. Never done that before.
  6. …was asked to be on a…{oops, sorry, people. I can’t share this yet. ;) }
  7. …found the perfect source of music for me –Pandora Radio– and surrounded myself with music all the time.
  8. …figured out how to get back my ideal figure after 6 yrs of trying.
  9. …asked new questions, found some new perspectives, tried something new, and learned an enormous amount about myself.
  10. …learned how to cry. I’ve never been a crier but I’ve done enough of it now to get a good feel for it.
  11. …verified, once again, that life can be one huge, wonderful, amazing surprise. Lots of love, world…

Supplies available in my affiliate store: large butterfly stamp * fairy butterfly stamp * foam Thickers * laser cut paper: I think it’s this one.
