Journaling (shortened version) reads:
At 36 yrs old I…
- Wrote the first draft of my first novel. This has been my dream since I was a kid. I also wrote a first draft to a second novel but didn’t finish it until 2 days after I turned 37. Both novels were completed within a month. Revision of the first is 1/3rd the way through.
- …began writing short stories. I call them my “shorts.”
- …started off-road biking.
- …fell in love with my husband all over again.
- …did press coverage of a national trade show, the Craft & Hobby Association trade show. Never done that before.
- …was asked to be on a…{oops, sorry, people. I can’t share this yet. ;) }
- …found the perfect source of music for me –Pandora Radio– and surrounded myself with music all the time.
- …figured out how to get back my ideal figure after 6 yrs of trying.
- …asked new questions, found some new perspectives, tried something new, and learned an enormous amount about myself.
- …learned how to cry. I’ve never been a crier but I’ve done enough of it now to get a good feel for it.
- …verified, once again, that life can be one huge, wonderful, amazing surprise. Lots of love, world…
