My local scrapbook store (LSS) won't buy anything for their store until they see it in person first. So the customers have to wait until after the CHA Summer (and Winter) shows when new product starts arriving in their store during the weeks after CHA. I know they are planning on going to the Summer show coming up soon, and with so many of the more well-known companies being absent from the show, I'm concerned that they won't have as much new product to choose from afterwards.
  • That's really interesting. I wonder how many stores do it that way?

I actually think this buying technique is more common for the smaller shops. However, this could also turn into a great opportunity for the attending manufacturers. Will be interesting to see.

This is disheartening. I'm wondering if companies like Creative Memories will again be the "it" company as they were at the birth of this industry?
