  • I'm re-watching some of the episodes these last days, as well as your Flickr gallery, and I've seen a light watching episode 66 QT and the pic of your cards.

I'm going to make something like that for Christmas, to build up our Xmas traditions. Jose and I have already spent two Xmases together, with its pics included, and I have a few other pics and stories to start filling our Xmas card container, which it could turn out in a mini in a box or something like that to display at home during the season :o)

That kind of stuff is not usual around here so I think it would be nice for our family & friends to look through the small cards/pages...

    I'll keep you inform.

    Thanks for the inspiration!!!
  • Love this idea!!
As scrapbookbabe wrote, we can use it for other holidays or loose pics that have around.
    Thanks!!!

Your BEST QT yet... This is a great idea, not only for Halloween but it could be used for Thanksgiving through the years and Xmas too.... wow, the ideas are whirling in my head. Thanks Noell! Marcy
  • Cool, thank you, Marcy! I love that it's giving you ideas for other holidays as well!!!

My favorite thing about this project is that it's flexible. I made my cards before I had any idea what I'd house them in. I just knew I wanted the flexibility to put them in whatever I wanted--that way if I want to put them in something else next year I can.

Marcy or Noell or anyone for that matter..................love this idea what are some thoughts for containers for Thanksgiving that would be cute and unique like the Jack o lantern Noell used I have ideas swirling for a photo album/gratitude journal to display for thanksgiving. links to anything you find on the net for ideas would be great too. Amy
  • I'm thinking you could put them into a round Thanksgiving pumpkin dish/bowl/basket. They don't have to fit right into it perfectly the way my cards happened to fit into that jack-o-lantern candy bag--that was totally coincidental and unplanned.

A cornocopia? (how do you spell that?).

I'm also working on something for a Thanksgiving gratitude/year reflection book that will be in a soon-to-come video. It will be a different concept than the loose cards, though.
