I was told by a demonstrator for another mist product that if you push the spritzer down fully it helps to eliminate droplets. She also said spraying into a box helps eliminate residual mist on other items.

I am loving your episodes. I have some Glimmer Mist, but have not used it. You have given me some great ideas.
  • Cool stuff, that glimmer mist! I loved all your projects you did with them... especially your "you learn" layout. I find using song lyrics in my layouts sometimes just suits exactly the timeframe, the feeling, emotion, etc. to the photos that I want to convey. I have a whole list of them to use when the inspiration hits. Good song choice... isn't it so true... you live, you learn... ;)

What is ironic is that I have passed up glimmer mist several times at trade shows around here... they were a bit pricey and I just wasn't sure if I "needed" them. (You know, once you buy one you have to have a few to mix. LOL!) Luckily I just got one to play with in a brand new kit for October that I photographed for a kit club. Now I have all kinds of visions of what I want to play with to see different effects. Thanks!

Glimmer Mist is great. It works very well on "naked" chipboard and grungeboard. I have also used it on flower and little wood embelishments. I only have two colors, but I will getting more soon!
  • Great tutorial! Love the finished layout at the end. You're so right about the little spritz on the corners really made the photo "belong".

I also like the new look of the video.... with the white background it looked like you were floating on the website - very cool Izzy....
  • I agree! The white background on the site is fun with the white video background...

super cool as always!!! I actually just bought some mist on vacation at a LSS there so I will be breaking it out this week!! I really like the layout of yourself you featured I love how you used the notebook paper as background and left the edge on, need to give us a close up on that layout, lots of texture and creative looking!
  • Great tips! I may buy one of those in the future...
