Paperclipping Live Q&A

Amy requested that we have a Q&A session during Paperclipping Live. I can go with that idea! I’ll also have a layout ready to prepare because there is likely to be some extra time.

So, if you have a question you’ve been curious to ask (or perhaps you did ask and I accidentally skipped over it) this is your chance. I would love it if you leave your questions in a comment on this post, but I’ll take questions during the show, too.

Thanks!

I have one more question...more about the finished work...how do you get your photos uploaded?? Do you scan or take a photo of the finished layout?? I take a photo of my finished layout, but it's hard to get a good picture. Any tips ?? Your layouts always look great here!! Share your tips here please!! ( go to flickr, I added some of my layouts today, but they are not straight and the color just seems off to me) Thanks!! Kim

    Hey Noell,
I look forward to tonight's live show. I was wondering what your favorite scrapbooking idea book is, if you have one. Thanks!

Noell, I would like to know where you keep your albums. Do you keep them in your scrapbook room or do you have them in a bookshelf or on a table where they are more available to guests to look at? How many scrapbooks do you actually have? Thanks

as I said before Noell, congrats on this months publish! I am curious is that your first or have there been others and what do you feel the magazines and such are really looking for in a layout they choose to publish?

I would like to know how you prepared before starting Paperclipping. For instance, what did you study to learn more about design skills. I know you have said you study layouts to see what you like or don't like about them and this has helped you with your scrapbooking. But did you get a book on design or research anything specific??

Also, what products do you "shy" away from. Which one intimidate you?

I will keeping thinking and see if I come up with more questions!

    Thanks, Kim

I really enjoy these kinds of interviews. It will be a "peek" into your scrapbooking life, and as always, I end up learning something new. I would like to know who your favorite suppliers are ( i.e. patterned paper, stickers etc)as well as how and when do you find the time to do Paperclipping as well as personal scrapbooking . Finding the TIME for me these days seems a little tricky.
    Looking forward to Tuesday's show!
    Thanks so much,
    Jennifer C.

Thanks so much for doing this Noell. I know its kinda like really putting yourself out there but, I really would like to know some more about you and your scrapping life. I will probably add to this all night as I think of things but, my first curiosity is what is your most treasured layout you have done and why? I think this is going to be super fun!! Amy
