  4. Ahhhh, love this episode. And your mantra will forever play in the back of my mind, Noell. It’s so helpful to remember that artistic expression involves creative risks and it’s O.K. to take those risks and it’s O.K. to make a mistake. Great video!!!

  9. Great clip and great ideas.
It is easy to be frustrated with things that do not quite work out but worth taking a moment to decide what little touches it needs to be all that you were hoping for.
Happy accidents are sometimes the best kind of fun.

  10. Noell-
Great episode and wonderful topic! I am curious—what are your other mantras or guiding principles for scrapbooking? Since you seem so grounded in yourself as a scrapbooker, I’d love to know…One of mine started off to be, “It’s supposed to be fun, remember?!” I would say this to myself when perfectionism would strike and would find my blood pressure rising because my page was missing that certain something. I’ve sinced changed the mantra to “I let myself have fun!” It may sound silly but it really works for me.

    Take care,
    Karen

  11. Great episode Noell!! You have truly taught me to just do it and not worry about it. For, in the end, if I’m not crazy about it I can somehow fix it!! I’m so grateful to you for that, it’s been so much more freeing when I scrapbook. Thanks again for being so inspirational!!
